We Are Limitless!

Our Story

Hello and thanks for visiting our site! We are a family of seven (pictured above) living in Central California. We created Limitless as a church ministry out of necessity so that our newly adopted daughter, who happens to have Down syndrome, could attend church.  In doing so it has opened our eyes to how very limited opportunities are for those with disabilities to fully access things they enjoy in the community.  As the church ministry has grown, Limitless has provided sensory friendly worship nights, a yearly disability conference, family days, and gatherings for adults with disabilities. One of the most exciting things is that Limitless has connected with different churches and community organizations to provide resources for families. We have also been asked to help businesses develop adapted classes for those with special needs or disabilities so they too can welcome this community of people. Together we are working together as one city, and one Central Valley, to make a difference.

As the church ministry has grown, and we have become more aware of the need of inclusive places, we started a sports program in western Fresno County for kids with special needs in 2021 to provide them an opportunity to belong to a team. We have friends from all over the west side of Fresno County joining us in Kerman on Saturday mornings and we have a great deal of fun! We now provide sports all year round, for kids and adults, which currently include basketball, bocce ball, bowling, and indoor soccer. The sports program led us to become a nonprofit in the summer of 2023 to help with funding for these families so they could afford to play, and we called that nonprofit Limitless Abilities.

In early 2025, we decided to branch out and start classes in Kerman and West Fresno in the creative arts; including music, art and photography. The arts are such a wonderful way for those with special needs or disabilities to express themselves, helps with sensory regulation, helps work on social skills, and builds self esteem, and we felt it was a missing piece in our community. These classes run throughout the school year and provide, not only a great time for our students, but also for the caregivers. We also provide week-long summer workshops (camps) for kids to experience the arts. All kids look forward to summer camp and so we wanted to provide that experience for the disabled community as well.

Our longterm goal is to have our own location where we can offer classes and creative experiences all day long while also providing job opportunities for our friends with disabilities. We have big dreams for what this can become. If you are able to support us in this endeavor, please let us know. If you are wanting to get plugged in to any of our programs, click either the sports tab or creative tab above to find out more. We can't wait to play or get creative with you!

Sometimes those with disabilities feel limited, but together we are limitless!
