Meet the Founders

Hello, and thanks for visiting our site! We are a family of seven (pictured above) living in Central California. Limitless began as a church ministry out of necessity—so that our newly adopted daughter, who has Down syndrome, could attend church. What started as a personal need quickly opened our eyes to a much bigger reality: opportunities for people with disabilities to fully access and enjoy their communities are often very limited.
As the ministry grew, Limitless began offering sensory-friendly worship nights, an annual disability conference, family days, and gatherings for adults with disabilities. One of the most exciting developments has been connecting with churches and community organizations to share resources and support families. We’ve also partnered with local businesses to help them develop adapted classes, empowering them to welcome and include people with disabilities. Together, we are working as one city and one Central Valley to make a difference.
With a growing awareness of the need for inclusive spaces, we launched a sports program in western Fresno County in 2021 to give kids with special needs the chance to belong to a team. Families from across the west side of Fresno County join us in Kerman on Saturday mornings, and we have a great deal of fun together! Today, we offer year-round sports for both kids and adults, including basketball, bocce ball, bowling, and indoor soccer. This program eventually led us to become a nonprofit in the summer of 2023 so we could better support families financially and make participation more accessible. That nonprofit is now known as Limitless Abilities.
In early 2025, we expanded once again—this time into the creative arts. We now offer classes in Kerman and Northwest Fresno for kids and adults in music, art, dance, theater, and photography. The arts provide a powerful outlet for self-expression and are especially beneficial for sensory regulation, social skill development, and building self-esteem. These year-round classes are not only meaningful for our students, but also a wonderful experience for caregivers. We truly have something for every age and every ability. In addition, we offer week-long summer workshops in June and July, giving students the chance to fully immerse themselves in the arts—an experience our community eagerly looks forward to each year.
Looking ahead, our long-term dream is to have a permanent location where we can offer classes and creative experiences throughout the day, while also providing job opportunities for our friends with disabilities. We envision a future “hub” where extracurricular activities and services are housed in one place, easing the burden families often face when traveling to multiple locations for therapies and classes. If you’re interested in supporting this vision, we’d love to connect with you. And if you’re ready to get involved, click on the Sports or Creative tabs above to learn more about our programs. We can’t wait to play or get creative with you!
Sometimes those with disabilities feel limited—but together, we are limitless. 💛
