Art Class
Art provides an avenue for communication and self expression. It reduces stress and anxiety, especially for those who have disabilities. It provides sensory regulation, social skills, motor skills, and is great for building self-esteem. Art is a great benefit to those with and without special needs.
Play and Create (kinder and up): This is a time to play and expose the littles to art and music basics. We will spend time coloring, tracing, cutting, gluing, painting, etc., exploring some instruments and dancing, all while playing with friends. We want the students to participate as much as they're willing but also want them to enjoy their time with us during this 45 minute class. Parents/caregivers are asked to stay with their child during this class.
Teen/Adult Art: This is a time for participants to explore and create in a way that is meaningful to them. Different mediums of art will be explored in this hour long, beginning class. Each month we will learn about different famous artists and recreate projects inspired by each artist. At the end of the semester you will have a wide array of art pieces to enter into an art showcase.
We are now taking registrations for our winter/spring semester which will run from January 6 through May 30th. We enroll students at the beginning of each month only. Please see below for the days and times for each class. To register please submit the form below, as well as print and return the registration forms either by email to info@limitlessabilities.org or bring them on the first day of class.
