We created Limitless as a church ministry out of necessity so that our newly adopted daughter, who happens to have Down syndrome, could attend church.  In doing so it has opened our eyes to how very limited opportunities are for those with disabilities to fully access things they enjoy in the community.  As the church ministry has grown, Limitless has provided sensory friendly worship nights, a disability conference, family days, and gatherings for adults with disabilities. One of the most exciting things is that Limitless has connected with different churches and community organizations to provide resources for families. We have also been asked to help businesses develop adapted classes for those with special needs or disabilities so they too can welcome this community of people. Together we are working together as one city, and one Central Valley, to make a difference.

In 2021 we started a sports program in the Kerman area for kids with special needs to provide them an opportunity to belong to a team, be active, and build friendships while having fun. We have friends from all over the west side of Fresno County, along with friends from the west side of Fresno, joining us in Kerman on Saturday mornings and we have a great deal of fun! The sports program led us to become a nonprofit in the summer of 2023. In early 2025, we are starting classes in Kerman, as well as a couple days in west Fresno, in the creative arts; including music, different art mediums and crafts, and American Sign Language. The arts are such a wonderful way for those with special needs or disabilities to express themselves, helps with sensory regulation, helps work on social skills, and builds self esteem, and we felt it was a missing piece in our community. The future plan is to also provide week-long summer workshops (camps) for kids to experience the arts and to one day have our own location so we can keep providing these experiences for kids and adults who may not otherwise get to experience them. We cannot wait to get creative with you!
